Take a dog for a walk, better to give than receive....
Top
Sunday 4 December - we called because we found a female German shepherd under the house. Very good free and with other dogs (both male and female).
Terrible experience first and foremost for the call, the response we received was rubbish. They later told us that they had other dogs to collect and that it would take them a while to arrive. So we tried to get the big dog into the car, and since she fit in, we took her to the shelter. Once we got there, a certain Monica (I think) met us, took the dog and brought it inside to check the microchip. The big dog had a microchip, so she took it and we didn't even receive a thank you. We had a small disagreement, which was immediately interrupted by my education.
It happened several times that we called about dogs found wandering around and the answers were always rude along the lines of "we can't take care of everything, we'll come when we have time". Absolutely fortunate that there are kennels, they do a noble thing. But certainly, after having been treated badly, I will no longer turn to this shelter. I'm sorry because there are many souls that need to be saved.
A little more education would be appreciated.
I read the reviews written previously and wonder if we stayed at the same place. I had a horrible experience at this shelter. I was almost attacked by the "responsible" if you can call it that. Rude is an understatement. not only does he tell you one thing on the phone and then in person he says something completely different, but when you try to point out the mistake he immediately becomes inflamed and attacks with rude words. The volunteers are no exception. As soon as you arrive you already feel treated terribly by these people who in theory should help you in choosing whether to adopt a puppy or a dog. Truly shameful, the thought that such people can decide the lives of other living beings makes my heart hurt. The person responsible for. That place should get treatment because it's not well!!!
I give one star because you can't do less!
Disgusting place like few others, annoying, rude, arrogant and incompetent volunteers! Not to mention the manager who has nothing responsible! He makes agreements and then when you arrive he takes everything back, he does nothing but insult and attack. They treat dogs like objects, trying to give you one at random without giving any importance to anything.
Disgusting and disgusting place! They complain that the kennels are always full but as long as there are people like them managing things things will certainly not improve.
It's almost hard for me to believe the positive reviews since I was the first to be treated like the negative ones!
I have a soft spot for these places. I had never been there before, I brought some basic necessities for the animals. For that reason I found it very nice, located in a position close to the inhabitants so it's quiet and can't cause any disturbance I think. Helpful and polite staff, all in excellent condition, even the cages for those poor animals, certainly many and I believe well cared for. I take the liberty of those who read me and perhaps wish to find some four-legged friends, go for a tour, I think it's worth it, maybe ........ thanks
Volunteers always available and friendly. Dogs well kept. There is the possibility on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 2pm to 6pm to take the dogs for a walk...kibbles, soft food and blankets are welcome.😁 …
Now I'll just compliment you on what you do
